NCG is a member of the following organizations:

Climate Collaborative – The Climate Collaborative is comprised of concerned businesses from the natural products industry working collaboratively to catalyze bold action, amplify the voice of business and promote sound policy to reverse climate change. NCG contributed funds and engaged in advisory roles to help launch the Collaborative in 2016, and sponsored the National Co+op Grocers Climate Collaborative Awards for three years. Learn more about the Collaborative at www.climatecollaborative.com.

International Co-operative Alliance (ICA) – The International Co-operative Alliance is a non-profit international association established in 1895 to advance the co-operative social enterprise model. The Alliance represents 284 co-operative federations and organizations across 95 countries. Learn more about ICA at www.ica.coop.

National Cooperative Business Association (NCBA) – NCBA CLUSA International is the lead national membership association representing cooperatives across sectors. NCBA helps co-ops strengthen their businesses through comprehensive education, co-op development, communications, public policy, member services, and international development programs. National Organic Coalition (NOC) – NOC is a national alliance of organizations working to provide a “Washington voice” for farmers, ranchers, environmentalists, consumers and progressive industry members involved in organic agriculture. NOC advocates for strong, enforceable, and continuously improved standards that maximize the many health, environmental, and economic benefits of organic farming. Organic Trade Association (OTA) – OTA is a membership-based business association that focuses on the organic business community in North America. OTA's mission is to promote and protect the growth of organic trade to benefit the environment, farmers, the public and the economy. NCG's membership supports ongoing operations. CCMA Conference - The Consumer Cooperative Management Association offers an annual conference for food co-op leaders, including general managers and board directors, with the aim of providing a valuable forum for success, innovation and development of the national food co-op movement. Co-op Impact Conference – Organized by the National Cooperative Business Association, this annual conference brings together leadership from all types of co-ops throughout the U.S. The agenda features tracks focused on measuring and increasing the impact co-ops have in building an inclusive economy, as well as specific tracks for purchasing co-ops and co-op professionals. Food Co-op Initiative (FCI) – FCI aims to increase the number, success and sustainability of new food cooperatives delivering access to healthy food in diverse communities across this country. It provides information, training and technical assistance, as well as seed capital, and engages in research, to blaze, maintain and improve the development path for new food coops. Organic Farming Research Foundation (OFRF) – As a result of OFRF's research, education, and outreach efforts, thousands of organic farmers have received pertinent research and training information. Recent projects have resulted in scientific improvements in participatory plant breeding, soil and fertility management, weed and insect pest management, water use efficiency, and more. The Organic Center (TOC) – TOC’s mission is to conduct and convene credible, evidence-based science on the environmental and health effects of organic food and farming and communicate findings to the public. Learn more about TOC at www.organic-center.org.

Up & Coming Food Co-op Conference – A project of the Indiana Cooperative Development Center, this conference focuses on helping communities start and launch their own food co-ops, as well as offering resources to co-ops in the first years of operation.
